세종특별자치시교육청 진로교육원(원장 문민식, 이하 진로교육원)은 7월 23일부터 24일까지 양일간 세종 관내 초·중등 교원을 대상으로 ‘미래사회대비 교원 창업도전 스쿨연수’를 개최했다.
이번 연수는 디지털 전환 시대에 요구되는 창의적 사고와 문제해결 능력을 갖춘 교사를 양성하고, 학교 교육과정 안에서 실질적인 창업교육이 가능하도록 하기 위한 취지에서 마련됐다.
이번 프로그램은 이론과 실습, 토론을 유기적으로 결합해 교원의 실천 중심 창업교육 역량을 끌어올리는 데 초점을 맞췄다.
첫째 날에는 '창업가 기질 진단을 통한 창업동기 강화과정', '창업가 도전 과정 및 주제별 토론' 등이 진행됐다. 참가 교사들은 각자의 교육현장에서 창업교육을 어떻게 구현할 수 있을지에 대해 적극적으로 의견을 나눴다.
둘째 날 연수에서는 기술과 창업을 융합한 심화 프로그램이 마련됐다. 'AI 미래사회 첨단·융합기술 실습', '생성형 AI 도구인 Chat-GPT를 활용한 창업 프로그램 이해 및 분석', '통합교육을 위한 창업가정신 교육 과정' 등 교과 연계 적용 가능성을 높이는 내용으로 구성됐다. 이를 통해 교사들은 다양한 교육환경에서 창업교육을 실현할 수 있는 실질적 도구를 체득했다.
연수에 참여한 한 초등교사는 “막연하게 느껴졌던 창업교육이 구체적인 수업 아이디어로 다가왔다”며 “창의성과 주도성을 키우는 수업 설계를 구상하는 데 큰 도움이 됐다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
문민식 진로교육원장은 “이번 연수가 창업가정신 교육을 지원하는 교원 전문가 양성에 밑거름이 될 것으로 기대한다”며, “앞으로도 도전정신과 문제해결력 등 미래역량을 키울 수 있는 창업교육 환경 조성에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편, 진로교육원은 앞으로도 체험 중심 연수를 지속적으로 확대해 나가며, 교사들이 변화하는 사회 흐름에 민감하게 대응할 수 있도록 실천 가능한 교육혁신 모델을 제시해 나갈 계획이다.
