[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 여야 국회의원들은 26일과 27일 양일간 집중호우로 큰 피해를 입은 합천군을 찾아 수해민을 위로하고 복구 봉사활동을 실시했다.
26일에는 윤재옥, 정희용, 주호영, 이인선, 추경호 국회의원을 비롯한 국민의힘 당원협의회 등 200여명이 참여해 피해민들을 돕는데에 힘을 보탰다.
윤재옥 의원과 정희용 의원은 합천 삼가면 일대를 방문해 집중호우로 침수피해를 입은 농가 주변의 토사와 쓰레기를 수거하고 정리하는 등 복구작업에 참여했다.
같은 날, 주호영 의원, 이인선 의원, 추경호 의원은 합천 가회면 일대에서 봉사활동을 펼쳤다. 세 의원 역시 자원봉사자들과 함께 호우 피해 현장을 누비며 복구 지원에 구슬땀을 흘렸다.
이어서 27일에는 더불어민주당 김정호 의원과 조국혁신당 차규근 의원 등 60여명이 각각 삼가면과 가회면을 방문하여 피해주민들을 위로하고 현장정리 작업을 도우며 지역주민들과 함께 했다.

현장을 찾은 여야 관계자는 “큰 비로 인해 수해피해를 입은 합천군민들에게 위로의 말씀을 전한다”며 “지속적인 관심으로 합천의 신속한 복구와 피해 주민들의 일상 회복을 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
김윤철 군수는 “전국 각지에서 전해온 봉사자들의 온정이 큰 위로가 되고 있다”며 “군에서도 모든 행정력을 동원해 피해 주민들이 하루빨리 일상으로 복귀할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다 ”고 밝혔다.
한편, 정부는 합천군을 포함한 다수 지역을 특별재난지역으로 지정하고, 복구 지원과 생계안정을 위한 다양한 대책을 추진 중이다.
