【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 중구청(구청장 류규하)은 지난 24일 동성로 일원에서 여름철 전력 수급 안정과 에너지 절약을 위한 홍보 캠페인을 진행했다.
이번 캠페인은 중구청과 대구시를 비롯해 한국에너지공단, (사)소비자교육중앙회 대구지부, 한국가스안전공사, 한국가스공사 등 여러 기관이 함께 참여해 시민들의 자발적인 에너지 절약 실천을 유도하고자 마련됐다.
'지구를 살리는 에센스, 당신의 에너지센스'라는 슬로건 아래 진행된 캠페인은 실내 적정온도(26℃) 유지의 중요성을 알리고, 개문 냉방 영업 자제를 권장하는 내용을 중심으로 전개됐다.
참여 기관들은 동성로 일대 상점과 시민들을 대상으로 개문 냉방 계도 활동을 벌이고, 적정 냉방 온도 안내 리플릿과 함께 휴대용 선풍기, 우양산 등 홍보물품을 나눠주며 시민들의 관심을 유도했다.
류규하 중구청장은 “이번 캠페인을 계기로 시민들이 일상 속에서 실천할 수 있는 에너지 절약 습관이 널리 확산되길 바란다”며 “전력 수급 상황에 따라 필요할 경우 개문 냉방 업소에 대한 단속과 과태료 부과 등 실효성 있는 조치도 함께 추진할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.
