‘예스키즈존’은 어린이 전용 메뉴와 식기류 등 편의용품을 갖춰 아이 동반 가족이 편안하게 이용할 수 있는 친화적 외식 공간이다. 동구는 지난해 대구시 최초로 이 제도를 도입해 30개소를 지정하고, 인증 스티커와 30만 원 상당의 어린이 식사 용품을 지원해 높은 호응을 얻은 바 있다.
이번 모집은 어린이 메뉴 또는 식사 용품(식기, 의자 등)을 구비한 음식점이나 제과점을 대상으로 하며, 현장 평가와 심사를 거쳐 최종 선정된다. 선정된 업소에는 ‘예스키즈존’ 인증 스티커와 함께 어린이용 식기세트, 유아용 의자 등이 지원된다.
동구청은 “아이를 동반한 가족이 환영받는 외식 문화를 조성하고, 지역 음식점의 서비스 경쟁력을 높이기 위해 이번 사업을 지속 확대할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.
