[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산국제코미디페스티벌(Busan International Comedy Festival, BICF)이 올해로 제13회를 맞이하며 오는 8월 29일(금)부터 9월 7일(일)까지 열흘간 부산 전역에서 열린다.
2013년 아시아 최초의 국제 코미디 페스티벌로 출범한 BICF는 해마다 국내외 유쾌한 코미디 공연을 선보이며 꾸준한 관심을 받아왔다. 올해는 대한민국 대표 개그맨들과 신진 크리에이터, 9개국의 해외 코미디 아티스트를 포함해 100여 명 이상의 코미디언이 참여할 예정이다.
이번 제13회 BICF 개막공연은 8월 29일 부산 벡스코 오디토리움에서 열린다. 개막 무대에는 KBS ‘개그콘서트’ 팀이 오프닝 공연을 맡고, 개그맨 박명수가 사회를 맡는다. 이외에도 다양한 국가의 코미디언들이 참여해 개막 무대를 장식할 예정이다.
페스티벌 측은 행사 개막에 앞서 공식 포스터를 30일 공개했다. 이번 포스터는 BICF 역사상 최초로 자체 제작되었으며, BICF의 상징 캐릭터인 ‘퍼니’(등대)와 ‘버디’(갈매기)를 레트로 스타일로 재해석한 것이 특징이다.
포스터에는 ‘GET READY TO LAUGH!’라는 문구와 함께 밝은 하늘색 배경, 파스텔 색조, 꽃가루 효과 등을 활용해 축제 분위기를 시각적으로 표현했다.
BICF조직위원회 측은 “이번 포스터는 관객이 공연의 주인공이 되는 경험을 상징한다”며 “모든 세대가 함께 즐길 수 있는 코미디 축제가 될 것”이라고 전했다.
제13회 BICF는 현재 NOL 인터파크 티켓을 통해 예매가 가능하다. 행사 기간 동안 부산 전역에서 다양한 코미디 공연이 진행될 예정이다.

The 13th Busan International Comedy Festival (BICF) is set to take place from August 29 (Friday) to September 7 (Sunday), spanning ten days across various venues in Busan, South Korea.
Launched in 2013 as the first international comedy festival in Asia, BICF has grown into a major annual event showcasing a wide range of comedic talent. This year’s lineup includes top South Korean comedians, emerging digital creators, and comic artists from nine different countries, totaling over 100 participants.
The opening ceremony will be held on August 29 at the BEXCO Auditorium. The event will feature a performance by the cast of KBS’s Gag Concert, one of Korea’s most iconic comedy programs. Comedian Park Myung-soo will host the ceremony.
