【브레이크뉴스 경북】진예솔 기자=경북교육청이 '우리는 단디짝꿍' 2025년 1기 사제동행 해외체험연수를 실시하고 있다고 밝혔다.
지난 29일부터 오는 8월 1일까지 3박 4일간 일본 오사카와 교토 일원에서 진행되는 연수는 어려운 환경 속에서도 꿋꿋하게 성장해 온 학생들과 그 곁을 지켜온 교직원이 함께 떠나는 특별한 여정이다.
'감동성장 스토리 공모'를 통해 선발된 학생 30명과 교직원 30명이 1대1로 짝을 이뤄 참여했다.
연수단은 오사카 롯코산 전망대와 메모리얼 파크, 도시샤대학교, 청수사, 도톤보리, 신사이바시, 유니버설 스튜디오 재팬, 갤럭시 스튜디오 오사카 등을 방문하며 일본의 역사와 문화를 체험하고 있다.
현지에 진출한 국내 기업의 활동 현장을 찾아 글로벌 감각과 진로 의식을 키우는 시간도 예정됐다.
특히 광복 80주년을 맞아 도시샤대학교 내 윤동주·정지용 시비를 찾아 시를 낭송하고 묵념하며 타국에 남겨진 시인의 흔적을 따라 우리 민족의 아픔과 평화의 가치를 되새기는 의미 있는 자리도 마련됐다.
연수에 참여한 한 학생은 "집에서는 엄마와 따갈로그어로, 학교에서는 친구들과 한국어로 이야기하는 게 혼란스러워 자존감이 낮았는데, 이번 연수를 준비하며 이것이 나만의 특별함이라는 걸 알게 됐다"며 "승무원이 되고 싶다는 꿈에도 확신이 생겼다"고 소감을 밝혔다.
임종식 교육감은 "이번 연수가 학생들에게 역사와 문화를 체험하며 서로를 응원하는 짝꿍으로 함께 성장하는 시간이 되길 바란다"며 "앞으로도 경북교육청은 학생 한 명, 한 명의 이야기를 소중히 여기며 따뜻하게 동행하는 교육을 실천해 나가겠다"고 말했다.

The Gyeongbuk Office of Education announced that it is conducting the first batch of "We Are Dandi Buddy" overseas training programs for 2025.
The four-day, three-night program, held in Osaka and Kyoto, Japan, from August 29th to August 1st, is a special journey for students who have persevered despite difficult circumstances, along with the faculty and staff who have supported them.
Thirty students and 30 faculty members, selected through the "Inspiring Growth Story Contest," participated in the program, paired one-on-one.
The training group is experiencing Japanese history and culture by visiting Osaka's Rokkosan Observatory and Memorial Park, Doshisha University, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, Universal Studios Japan, and Galaxy Studio Osaka.
Visiting local Korean companies to develop global perspectives and career awareness is also planned.
In particular, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation, a meaningful event was held where students visited the monuments to Yun Dong-ju and Jeong Ji-yong at Doshisha University, recited their poems, paid silent tribute, and reflected on the poets' legacy in foreign countries, reflecting on the pain of our people and the value of peace.
One student who participated in the training said, "I used to have low self-esteem because I was confused by speaking Tagalog with my mother at home and Korean with my friends at school. But preparing for this training made me realize that this is my unique strength. I also gained confidence in my dream of becoming a flight attendant."
Superintendent Lim Jong-sik stated, "I hope this training will be an opportunity for students to experience history and culture, and to grow together as supportive partners." He added, "The Gyeongbuk Office of Education will continue to practice education that values each and every student's story and warmly accompany them."
