한중도시우호협회는 7월31일치 보도자료에서 “권기식 한중도시우호협회장은 31일 오전 서울시 영등포구 국회대로 소재 한중경제협력센터에서 중국 하이난(海南)성 청마이(澄邁)현 한국방문단(단장 성융쥔=盛勇軍 서기)과 한중 교류 간담회를 열었다”고 알렸다. 자료에 따르면, 이 간담회에는 권 회장과 청마이현 방문단 6인 등 7명이 참석했다.

권기식 회장은 "이재명 정부 출범이후 한중 관계가 좋아지고 있어 활발한 한중 교류가 기대된다"며 "자유무역항인 하이난의 발전하는 도시인 청마이현과 한국 경제계가 협력하는 방안을 추진하겠다"고 말했다.
성융쥔(盛勇軍) 서기는 "청마이현은 하이난에서 빠르게 발전하는 도시"라며 "한중도시우호협회가 한국 경제계와의 협력을 도와주기 바란다"고 말했다. 이어 권 회장의 청마이현 방문을 공식 요청했다.
