【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 남구(구청장 조재구)가 ‘신혼부부 주택구입 대출이자 지원사업’ 1차 대상자 선정을 완료하고, 지원금 지급을 시작했다고 1일 밝혔다.
남구에 주택을 구입해 거주 중인 신혼부부에게 3년간 최대 900만 원의 대출이자를 지원하는 사업으로, 청년층의 지역 정착을 유도하기 위해 마련됐다.
1차 선정은 소득 수준, 주택 조건, 대출금액 등 종합적인 심사를 거쳐 진행됐으며, 선정된 세대에는 연소득과 실제 이자 납부 내역에 따라 지원금이 차등 지급된다.
남구는 젊은 세대가 지역에 정착할 수 있도록 실질적인 지원책 마련에 주력하고 있다. 이번 대출이자 지원 외에도 ‘고품격 임대주택사업’, ‘임산부 예방접종’, ‘산후조리비 지원’, ‘청년 캠퍼스’ 등 다양한 정책이 이미 시행되거나 준비 중이다.
남구청은 이번 1차 지원을 시작으로 하반기 500세대, 내년 상·하반기 각각 500세대 등 총 2,000세대 지원을 목표로 사업을 확대해 나갈 계획이다.
조재구 남구청장은 “이번 사업은 단순한 이자 지원을 넘어, 젊은 세대가 남구에 정착할 수 있도록 돕는 투자”라며 “무지개 프로젝트를 통해 남구는 ‘사는 곳’을 넘어 ‘살고 싶은 곳’으로 거듭나게 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.
