[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 제80주기 원폭 희생자 추모제가 6일 합천원폭복지회관 내 위령각에서 한국원폭피해자협회 합천지부 주관으로 개최됐다.

이번 행사는 80년 전인 1945년 8월 6일 히로시마에 투하된 원폭으로 희생된 한국인 영령들을 위한 깊은 기억과 평화를 기원하는 의미를 담아 진행됐다. 

참석자들은 삼가 고인의 넋을 기리며, 과거의 비극을 잊지 않기 위한 소중한 시간을 가졌다.

행사에는 김윤철 군수와 정봉훈 합천군의회의장, 장진영 도의원, 유미숙 합천경찰서장, 정통령 보건복지부 공공보건정책관, 김영선 경상남도 복지여성국장, 원폭피해자협회 임원진, 정수원 한국원폭피해자복지회관 관장, 일본대사관 관계자, 일본 시민단체 등 400여 명이 참석하여, 희생자들을 추모하는 자리의 의미를 더했다.

추모제는 김윤철 군수와 정봉훈 의장이 각각 초헌관, 아헌관 역할을 맡았으며, 오전 9시 제례를 시작으로 추모공연, 추도사 및 헌화가 이어졌다.

김윤철 군수는 추도사를 통해 “80년 전, 우리나라와 세계를 강타한 비극의 기억을 가슴에 새기며, 다시는 이러한 비극이 반복되지 않도록 평화와 화합의 길에 힘써야 한다”고 강조했다. 

이어 “오늘의 추모제가 희생자들의 넋을 위로하는 동시에, 평화로운 미래를 다짐하는 귀중한 계기가 되기를 희망한다”고 말했다.
