충남 홍성군 남당항에 다시 한 번 가을 바다의 풍미가 찾아온다. 국내 최대 자연산 대하 산지로 손꼽히는 이곳에서 ‘제30회 홍성남당항 대하축제’가 오는 8월 22일부터 9월 7일까지 열린다.
예년보다 이르게 막을 올리는 올해 축제는 해양공원의 변화와 함께 더 다채롭고 풍성한 콘텐츠로 관람객을 맞이할 준비를 마쳤다.
올해로 30회를 맞이한 이번 축제는 남당항축제추진위원회(위원장 김용태) 주관으로 서부면 남당항 일원에서 개최된다. ‘대하의 고장’이라는 명성에 걸맞게, 대하를 중심으로 다양한 수산물을 직접 맛보고 체험할 수 있는 다채로운 프로그램이 마련돼 전국의 미식가들과 가족 단위 관광객들의 발길을 끌 전망이다.
