인천시교육청에 따르면, 2026년부터 IB 프로그램을 이수하려는 학생들이 인천 전역에서 우선 지원할 수 있도록 ‘IB 월드 스쿨’ 인증 기반을 마련하고 있다.
이번 행사는 ‘학생 주도성이 빛나는 읽걷쓰 탐구 기반 수업’을 주제로, 9월 13일 연수여고 본관 2층 연우재와 9월 20일 대인고 본관 2층 도서관에서 오후 1시부터 4시까지 진행된다.
행사에서는 ‘IB 고등학교 졸업생과의 대화’시간이 마련돼, 대구 IBDP 1·2기 졸업생인 조영인(연세대)·김소혜(서울시립대) 학생이 IB 수업을 선택한 이유, 가장 의미 있었던 수업, 대학 생활에서의 IB 경험 등을 나누며, 참가자들이 IB 교육의 특징과 가치를 이해할 수 있도록 돕는다.
