【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 수성구가 우호교류도시 일본 이즈미사노시에서 유소년 스포츠 교류전을 성공적으로 마쳤다.
수성구(구청장 김대권)는 지난 7일부터 10일까지 3박 4일간 수성구리틀야구단·축구단 선수 등 48명으로 구성된 대표단이 일본을 방문해 국제 친선경기와 문화체험을 진행했다고 밝혔다.
리틀축구단은 한·일 8개 팀이 참가한 친선교류전에서 더운 날씨 속에서도 페어플레이 정신으로 경기를 치렀으며, 리틀야구단도 일본 유소년팀과 수준 높은 경기를 펼쳐 박수를 받았다.
대표단은 경기 외에도 환영식과 만찬, 스이타 파나소닉 스타디움·쿄세라돔·주택박물관 등 명소 탐방을 통해 일본 문화와 역사를 직접 체험하며 글로벌 감각을 키웠다.
김대권 수성구청장은 “이번 교류전은 미래 체육 인재들이 세계를 향해 나아가는 발판이 됐다”며 “이즈미사노시와의 정례적 교류뿐 아니라 다양한 국가와의 유소년 스포츠 교류를 지속적으로 확대하겠다”고 말했다.

Suseong District (Mayor Kim Dae-kwon) announced that a delegation of 48 players, including members of the Suseong District Little League Baseball and Soccer Teams, visited Japan for three nights and four days from the 7th to the 10th, participating in international friendly matches and cultural experiences.
