[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산을 대표하는 향토기업 대선주조가 부산 지역축제의 발전을 위해 5억 원의 후원금을 전달했다. 후원금은 부산불꽃축제, 부산국제록페스티벌 등 부산시 대표 축제의 성공적인 개최를 위한 재원으로 활용될 예정이다.
18일 오후 시청 7층 의전실에서 진행된 '부산 지역축제 발전 후원금 전달식’에는 박형준 시장, 조우현 대선주조 사장, 남덕현 부산축제조직위원회 집행위원장 등 주요 인사들이 참석했다.
대선주조는 이번 전달식을 통해 총 5억 원의 후원금을 부산축제조직위원회에 전달했다. 후원금은 부산시가 주최하고 축제조직위가 주관하는 부산불꽃축제, 부산국제록페스티벌 등 지역 대표 축제의 운영 및 콘텐츠 강화에 활용될 예정이다.
축제조직위는 이에 대한 보답으로 대선주조의 홍보 및 프로모션을 지원하고, 공동 마케팅 및 관련 사업도 함께 추진해 나갈 계획이다.
박형준 부산시장은 “부산의 향토기업인 대선주조의 든든한 후원이 올해 지역축제의 한 단계 도약에 크게 기여했다”며, “하반기에 열릴 부산국제록페스티벌과 부산불꽃축제도 부산만의 독창적인 색깔을 담아 성공적으로 개최해 부산이 글로벌 축제도시임을 전 세계에 알리겠다”고 밝혔다. 이어 “축제조직위에서도 이를 위해 최선의 노력을 다해줄 것을 당부드린다”고 전했다.
한편, 대선주조는 지역문화와 지역경제의 동반 성장을 위해 매년 지역축제에 후원금을 지원해 오고 있다. 부산축제조직위원회는 1997년 창립 이래 부산 밀 페스티벌, 택슐랭, 부산바다축제, 부산국제록페스티벌, 부산불꽃축제 등 다양한 축제를 성공적으로 개최하며 부산의 문화관광 발전과 지역경제 활성화에 기여해오고 있다.
