이채명 경기도의원, 경기도농업기술원 방문

경기도의회 이채명 의원(더불어민주당, 안양6)이 지난 8월 18일 경기도농업기술원을 방문해 농업기술 현황과 주요 현안을 청취하고 연구·지원시설을 둘러봤다.

이날 간담회에는 성제훈 농업기술원장, 조정주 기술보급국장, 이영순 연구개발국장 등 관계자들이 참석해 농업기술원의 주요 성과와 과제에 대해 논의했다.

이채명 의원은 △스마트팜 현장지원센터, △경기사이버식물병원, △스마트팜 개발시설, △곤충자원화센터, △농업과학교육관 등을 차례로 시찰했다.

이채명의원은 경기사이버식물병원에서 ICT 기반 원격 진단과 맞춤형 처방 시스템에 큰 관심을 보이며 “농업인들이 현장에서 겪는 작물 병해 문제를 신속하고 과학적으로 해결할 수 있는 핵심 플랫폼”이라고 평가했다. 이어 “스마트농업 기술이 현장에 안정적으로 보급될 수 있도록 도의회 차원에서 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

경기도농업기술원은 첨단 농업기술 연구·보급을 통해 스마트농업과 곤충자원화 등 신성장 산업을 육성하며 미래 농업 경쟁력 강화를 위한 중추적 역할을 하고 있다.

Focusing on the "Gyeonggi Cyber Plant Hospital," a Key Smart Agriculture Technology

Gyeonggi Provincial Council Member Lee Chae-myeong (Democratic Party of Korea, Anyang 6) visited the Gyeonggi Agricultural Research and Extension Services on August 18th to discuss the current state of agricultural technology and key issues, and toured research and support facilities.

Attendees included Director Seong Je-hoon of the Agricultural Research and Extension Services, Director Jo Jeong-ju of the Technology Dissemination Bureau, and Director Lee Yeong-sun of the Research and Development Bureau, who discussed the Agricultural Research and Extension Services' key achievements and challenges.

Lee toured the Smart Farm Field Support Center, the Gyeonggi Cyber Plant Hospital, the Smart Farm Development Facility, the Insect Resource Center, and the Agricultural Science Education Center.

At the Gyeonggi Cyber Plant Hospital, he expressed particular interest in the ICT-based remote diagnosis and customized prescription system, praising it as "a key platform that enables farmers to quickly and scientifically resolve crop disease issues they face in the field." He added, "We will actively support the stable deployment of smart agriculture technologies at the provincial council level."

The Gyeonggi Agricultural Research and Extension Services (GAR) plays a pivotal role in strengthening future agricultural competitiveness by fostering new growth industries such as smart agriculture and insect resource utilization through research and dissemination of advanced agricultural technologies.
