【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=구수산도서관이 독서와 코딩을 결합한 교육 프로그램을 운영한다고 21일 밝혔다.
국립어린이청소년도서관 주최 '2025년 이야기가 있는 코딩' 공모사업에 선정된 구수산도서관은 오는 9월부터 프로그램을 운영한다.
'이야기가 있는 코딩'은 아동의 문해력과 디지털 역량을 함께 키우는 프로그램이다.
담당 사서는 선정도서인 '쓰레기는 우주에도 있다', '다짜고짜 배구'를 활용해 독서 및 독후활동을 진행한다.
코딩 전문 강사는 이를 연계해 '우주 정거장 만들기', '스타디움 구성하기' 등 체험형 코딩 수업을 지도할 예정이다.
구수산도서관 관계자는 "책과 코딩이 결합된 새로운 시도를 통해 어린이들이 독서의 즐거움을 새롭게 발견하고, 디지털 역량과 창의성을 함께 키우길 바란다"고 전했다.

Gususan Library, having been selected for the "2025 Coding with Stories" contest hosted by the National Library for Children and Young Adults, will begin operating the program in September.
"Coding with Stories" is a program designed to foster children's literacy and digital capabilities.
The librarian in charge will use the selected books, "Trash Is in Space, Too" and "Volleyball, Just for Fun," to conduct reading and follow-up activities.
A coding instructor will connect these efforts with hands-on coding classes, such as "Building a Space Station" and "Building a Stadium."
A Gususan Library representative stated, "We hope that through this new approach combining books and coding, children will rediscover the joy of reading and develop both digital capabilities and creativity."
