[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 합천군 축산인단체는 9월 3일 합천체육관에서 개최 예정이던 제10회 합천군 축산인 한마음대회를 취소하기로 결정했다.
이번 행사는 합천군 축산인 4개 단체(한우, 한돈, 양계, 양봉)가 참여하여 축산인의 화합과 단합을 도모하기 위해 마련되었으며, 올해는 대한한돈협회 합천지부가 주관해 준비를 진행해 왔다.
그러나 지난 7월 16일부터 19일까지 이어진 집중호우로 인해 군민과 축산농가가 큰 피해를 입은 상황에서, 축산인단체는 군민들과 어려움을 함께 나누기 위해 행사를 취소하기로 뜻을 모았다.
강병천 축산과장은 “축산인단체의 따뜻한 마음과 배려에 깊이 감사드리며, 피해를 입은 농가가 하루빨리 회복할 수 있도록 군에서도 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
한편, 합천군 축산인단체와 축산농가에서는 지난 8월 초 집중호우 피해농가 지원을 위해 성금 2,600만 원을 기탁하며 상생의 마음을 실천한 바 있다.
