사단법인 사랑의집수리(이사장 우경식, 대표 박은경)가 재단법인 아름다운가게(이사장 박진원)와 함께 주거취약가정 50세대를 대상으로 ‘집수리119’ 사업을 완료했다.
지난해 10월, 아름다운가게 안양점과 안양시공직자회는 아름다운가게 창립 20주년 기념행사를 통해 마련한 수익금 700만 원을 사랑의집수리에 전달했다. 해당 기금으로 사랑의집수리는 지난 7월까지 홀몸어르신, 한부모가정, 장애가정, 자립준비청년 등 50가구를 선정해 집수리를 지원했다.
‘집수리119’는 노후주택의 안전 취약 요소를 개선하는 긴급 주거복지 사업이다. 전문가 봉사단이 직접 주거취약가정을 방문해 고장 난 전기시설과 누전차단기, 수도·배관, 변기·세면대, 방충망·방충문, 욕실 미끄럼 방지, 안전바 교체 등 생활 불편과 안전사고 위험 요소를 해결했다.
사업 대상자는 안양시 주거복지센터, 지역 복지관, 행정복지센터, 사회복지단체 등의 추천을 통해 발굴됐으며, 사랑의집수리 실무진이 현장조사를 거쳐 필요한 집수리 항목을 맞춤형으로 진행했다. 봉사활동에는 사랑의집수리 전문봉사단(단장 이종성)이 재능기부로 참여했다.
지원 가정의 다수는 경제적 어려움으로 수리 문제를 방치해 불편을 겪어온 노인가정으로 이번 사업을 통해 생활 여건이 개선되면서 높은 만족도를 보였다.
아름다운가게는 기증받은 물품을 재판매해 얻은 수익금을 소외이웃에 나누는 사회적기업으로, 이번 사업비 지원을 통해 ‘나눔과 순환의 가치’를 실천했다. 사랑의집수리는 2005년부터 약 1,250가구의 무료 집수리를 진행하며 지역 주거복지 향상에 기여하고 있다.

In October of last year, Beautiful Store Anyang Branch and the Anyang City Public Officials Association donated 7 million won, raised from Beautiful Store's 20th anniversary event, to Love Home Repair. With this fund, Love Home Repair has supported home repairs for 50 selected households, including single-parent families, families with disabilities, and young people preparing for independence, through July.
"Home Repair 119" is an emergency housing welfare project that improves safety vulnerabilities in aging housing. A team of expert volunteers visited homes and addressed inconveniences and safety hazards, including repairing broken electrical equipment, circuit breakers, plumbing, toilets and sinks, screens and screen doors, bathroom anti-slip devices, and replacing safety bars.
Project beneficiaries were identified through recommendations from Anyang City's Housing Welfare Center, local community centers, administrative welfare centers, and social welfare organizations. The Love Home Repair team conducted on-site inspections and customized the necessary home repairs. The Love Home Repair Professional Volunteer Team (Director Lee Jong-seong) contributed their talents to the volunteer work.
