성기황 경기도의원, 금연정책 토론회 참석

경기도의회 교육기획위원회 성기황 의원(더불어민주당, 군포2)이 지난 8월 22일 경기도의회 대회의실에서 열린 ‘제2회 지역사회 금연정책 토론회’에 토론자로 참석해, 청소년의 건강 보호를 위해 전자담배 규제 강화를 촉구했다.

성기황 의원은 ‘경기도교육청 청소년유해약물 등 오·남용 예방교육 조례’ 개정 배경을 소개하며 “도내 초·중·고 학생 140만 명이 전자담배 판매점에 무방비로 노출돼 있다”며, “학생들의 건강권을 보장하고 교육청의 책임을 강화하기 위해 조례 개정을 추진했다”고 설명했다.
