29일 포항교육지원청 등에 따르면 전날 포항시 남구 한 중학교에서 119명의 학생이 구토와 설사 등 식중독 의심 증세를 보였다. 일부 학생들은 점심시간 이전부터 증상을 보인 것으로 파악됐다.

식품의약품안전처와 포항시남구보건소 등은 학교 급식소 등에서 가검물을 체취해 경북도보건환경연구원에 검사를 의뢰했다.
