[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 거제 남부관광단지 조성사업이 중앙토지수용위원회(중토위) 공익사업 인정 심의에서 ‘조건부 동의’를 받았다고 경남도가 30일 밝혔다.
이번 결정으로 장기간 지연되던 사업이 본격적인 추진 동력을 확보할 것으로 기대된다.
중토위는 사업의 공익적 목적과 시급성은 인정하면서도 보상협의 취득률 상향, 공공기여 방안 구체화 등 일부 조건을 달았다.
경남도는 조건사항을 충실히 이행하고, 환경영향평가 협의 결과도 조성계획 승인 과정에 반영해 환경적 영향을 최소화하는 지속 가능한 관광단지를 조성할 계획이다.
거제 남부관광단지 조성사업은 거제시 남부면 탑포리와 동부면 율포리 일원 369만㎡ 부지에 총사업비 4,277억 원을 투입해 오는 2031년까지 추진된다.
단지 내에는 휴양콘도미니엄, 관광호텔, 호스텔 등 숙박시설과 해양스포츠체험장, 생태체험장, 운동·휴양문화시설 등이 들어설 예정이다.
