브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 넷마블은 대학생 대외활동 프로그램 ‘마블챌린저’ 24기 발대식을 진행했다고 1일 밝혔다.
‘마블챌린저’는 2013년부터 운영되고 있는 게임업계 대표 대학생 대외활동 프로그램이다. 지난 23기까지 총 215명이 수료했으며, 전체 취업대상자(4학년 이상) 중 60%가 게임업계에 취업하는 성과를 거뒀다.
‘마블챌린저’ 24기로 선발된 학생들은 2026년 2월까지 약 6개월 동안 △넷마블 게임 리뷰 및 각종 트렌드 관련 포스팅 작성 △유튜브·틱톡 등 뉴미디어 홍보 콘텐츠 제작 △1020 핫 아이템 등 트렌드 리포트 분석과 같은 다양한 실무를 체험하게 된다.
또한, 넷마블 온·오프라인 행사를 직접 기획하고 실행하는 경험을 쌓을 수 있다. 활동 기간 중 격주로 넷마블 사옥을 방문하여 아이디어 회의, 과제 발표 및 피드백 과정도 함께 진행한다.
‘마블챌린저’로 선정되면 향후 넷마블 입사 지원 시 서류 전형에서 우대한다. 별도의 수료증이 발급되며 매달 소정의 활동비와 실무자 멘토링 기회 등 혜택이 주어진다.
넷마블 관계자는 “신작 ‘뱀피르’ 출시와 함께 마블챌린저 24기 활동이 본격적으로 시작되는 만큼, 하반기 주요 신작 홍보와 연계해 게임 홍보 콘텐츠 기획부터 숏폼 영상 제작 및 인플루언서 협업 등 다양한 실무 프로젝트에 참여할 기회를 제공할 예정”이라며 “게임산업에 관심 있는 대학생들이 현업 경험을 쌓고 넷마블과 함께 성장할 수 있는 시간이 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.
