주요 평가 내용은 공기호흡기 장착 및 비상호흡법, 로프매듭법(기구묶기), 심폐소생술 및 심실제세동기 등 3개 분야 총 27종목 중 2종의 실기평가와 직무별 10문제 출제방식의 필기평가다.
