【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시교육청이 '가족돌봄 아동·청년지원 공동협력포럼'을 개최한다고 17일 밝혔다.
이날 오후 2시 대구어린이세상 꾀꼬리극장에서 열리는 이번 포럼은 지난 3월 11일 체결된 '가족돌봄 아동·청소년 등을 위한 맞춤형 통합지원' 협약의 후속조치다.
사각지대에 놓인 돌봄아동 및 청년을 발굴하고 지원하기 위한 민관 공동 협력 방안을 모색하기 위해 마련됐다.
1부에서는 후원금 전달식과 차일드 키퍼 위촉식이 진행된다. 전국금융산업노동조합 iM뱅크 대구은행지부 백지노 위원장이 강은희 교육감에게 후원금을 전달한다. 후원금은 '동네틈새안전망 사업'에 사용돼 여름방학 동안 학생 100여 명에게 1인당 10만 원 상당의 가정방문 키트를 지원했다.
차일드 키퍼 위촉식에서는 지역사회 아동권리 보장을 위해 자발적 책임과 역할을 수행할 인물들이 위촉되며, 강은희 교육감을 비롯한 여러 기관장들이 임명될 예정이다.
2부에서는 기조 강연과 주제 발표에 이어 종합 토론 및 질의응답이 진행된다. 동도중학교 장진욱 교장 등 공공 및 민간 분야를 대표하는 4명의 토론자가 참석해 가족돌봄아동·청년을 위한 실질적인 지원 방안에 대해 심도 깊은 논의를 펼칠 예정이다.
강은희 교육감은 "가족돌봄 아동·청년 지원을 위해 교육청, 지자체, 민간 복지기관이 함께 힘을 모을 때 비로소 촘촘한 안전망이 구축될 수 있다"며 "이번 포럼에서 제안된 소중한 의견들을 바탕으로 아이들이 더 이상 혼자 힘들어하지 않도록 함께 고민하고 협력해 나가겠다"고 말했다.
