[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도는 8월 기준 도내 수산식품 수출액이 1억 7,915만 달러를 기록하며 순조로운 수출 실적을 이어가고 있다고 18일 밝혔다.
이는 전년 동월 대비 1.6% 증가한 수치로 경남의 주요 수출국인 일본과 중국의 경기 둔화와 미국 관세인상 등 대외 여건 악화에도 불구하고 거둔 값진 성과다.
품목별로는 김(전년 대비 21.1%↑), 오징어(383%↑) 등이 성장세를 이끌며 경남 수산식품의 수출 경쟁력을 입증했다.
굴(-8.1%)과 어묵제품(-22.5%) 수출은 감소했으나, 조미김과 조미오징어 등 수산가공식품 수출 확대가 이를 상쇄하며 전체 수출액 증가를 견인했다.
국가별 수출실적에서는 일본과 중국 수출액이 감소한 반면, 미국 수출이 전년 동월 대비 7.3% 증가한 3,987만 달러를 기록해 미국 상호관세 장벽에도 불구하고 역대 최고치를 경신했다.
특히, 대미 수출 품목에서는 굴과 김 품목이 수출 호조세를 보여 역대 최고치(2,050만 달러, 미 수출액 68% 차지)를 달성했다.
