【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 동구청(구청장 윤석준)은 지난 17일 구청 로비에서 중증장애인생산품 구매 활성화를 위한 전시·홍보전을 열었다.
이번 행사에는 대구장애인생산품 판매시설과 동구 관내·외 직업재활시설 등 8개 기관이 참여했다.
사무용품, 생활용품, 식료품 등 다양한 상품이 전시됐으며, 공공기관 구매 담당자들이 직접 품질을 확인하고 상담을 진행하는 자리도 마련됐다.
중증장애인생산품 우선구매 제도는 일반 노동시장에 참여하기 어려운 중증장애인에게 직업재활과 고용 기회를 제공하기 위한 것으로, 공공기관은 연간 총 구매액의 1.1% 이상을 의무적으로 구매해야 한다.
윤석준 동구청장은 “장애인들의 손으로 만들어진 다양한 상품을 널리 알리고 구매를 촉진해, 장애인 자립과 인식 개선에 기여하겠다”고 말했다.
