브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 신세계그룹이 2025년 추석 명절을 앞두고 중소 협력회사의 납품대금을 조기 지급한다.
이번 납품대금 조기 지급에는 이마트, 신세계백화점, SSG닷컴 등 그룹 내 3개사가 참여한다. 총 1만700여개 협력회사에 2000억원 규모의 대금이 지급된다.
신세계그룹은 최근 고금리 기조와 함께 명절을 앞두고 상여금, 원자재 구매 등으로 자금 수요가 집중되는 중소 협력회사들의 자금 운용에 실질적인 도움을 주기 위해 지급 시기를 앞당기기로 했다.
신세계그룹은 추석을 앞두고 납품대금 지급 시기를 기존 정산일로부터 최대 15일 앞당겨 9월 30일에서 10월 1일 사이 지급한다.
한편, 이마트와 신세계백화점은 2011년부터 동반성장펀드를 운영해 협력회사가 낮은 금리로 자금 대출을 받을 수 있도록 돕는 등 상생을 위한 다양한 활동을 이어 나가고 있다.
신세계그룹 관계자는 “고금리·고물가 등으로 어려움을 겪는 협력사들이 보다 안정적으로 자금을 운용할 수 있도록 중소협력사들의 납품대금을 앞당겨 지급한다”며 “앞으로도 협력사와의 상생을 위한 다양한 노력을 이어갈 것이다”고 말했다.
