(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시가 오는 9월 27일부터 28일까지 부천시청 잔디광장과 차 없는 거리에서 ‘제10회 부천국제브레이킹대회(BIBC, Bucheon International Breaking Championship)’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 올해 10회를 맞은 이번 대회는 부천시와 대한민국댄스스포츠연맹이 공동 주최하며, 브레이킹 국가대표 선발 2차전(브레이킹 K)을 유치해 대회의 위상과 공신력을 높였다.
부천시는 이번 대회를 계기로 부천을 브레이킹 대표 도시로 육성하고, 경쟁과 축제가 어우러지는 시민 참여형 축제로 추진할 계획이다.
대회 첫날인 9월 27일에는 국내 브레이킹 국가대표 선발을 위한 2차전이 열린다.
기존에 실내 유료 행사로 운영되던 대회는 올해 처음으로 야외무대에서 무료로 진행되며, 시민 누구나 관람할 수 있다.
9월 28일에는 세계 각국의 선수들이 참가하는 국제브레이킹대회가 이어진다.
