20일부터 21일 이틀간 노원구에서 열린 2025 댄싱노원거리페스티벌에서 대경대 남양주 캠퍼스 태권도과 꽃피우리 팀이 단체상 은상을 차지했다고 밝혔다.
올해 축제는 '춤추는 도시, 숨 쉬는 지구'를 주제로 환경과 예술이 공존하는 탄소중립 거리 퍼레이드로 치러졌다. 2000여 명이 참여한 대규모 플래시몹 개막행사에는 김성환 환경부 장관이 참석했다.
댄싱노원페스티벌은 노원역 일대에서 펼쳐지는 국내 대표 퍼레이드 거리축제다. 올해 메인 프로그램인 댄싱퍼레이드에는 총 75개 팀이 참여했다. 폴란드·이탈리아·몬테네그로 해외 초청팀을 비롯해 아동·청소년, 대학, 일반인들이 참가해 다채로운 퍼포먼스를 선보였다.
75개 팀의 퍼포먼스는 예술성과 완성도를 평가하는 프로그램으로, 팀별 화려한 테크닉과 퍼포먼스로 무장한 스토리가 있는 거리 퍼레이드로 구성해야 했다.
대경대는 본교 국제태권도과와 한류캠퍼스 태권도과의 협업으로 창작 안무를 선보였다. 격파 묘기와 화려한 군무, 태권도와 댄스, 치어리딩을 융복합해 공연퍼포먼스로 재구성한 거리 퍼레이드로 수준 높은 기량을 보여줬다는 평가를 받았다.
수상 단체는 총 5개 팀으로, 동상은 2개 팀이 선정됐다. 올해 축제에서는 퍼레이드존, 댄싱테마존, 힐링쉼터, 팝아트존, 가족테마존으로 나뉘어 총 150개 부스가 운영됐다.
대경대 태권도과는 은상으로 상금 300만 원을 받게 됐다. 대경대 태권도 전공자들로 구성된 꽃피우리 팀은 올해 파워풀대구페스티벌에서 대상을 수상하며 전국 태권도 전공학과 가운데 태권무 창작 안무 기량이 전문가 수준이라는 평가를 받고 있다.
최현동 교수는 "대경대 태권도과 꽃피우리 팀의 퍼레이드 수준은 전국적인 강팀"이라며 "앞으로 창작 안무에 AI를 접목해 한 단계 업그레이드된 퍼레이드를 선보이겠다"고 말했다.

Daekyung University's Taekwondo Department received a silver medal and a cash prize of 3 million won. The Kkotpiuri team, comprised of Taekwondo majors from Daegyeong University, won the grand prize at this year's Powerful Daegu Festival and is recognized as having the highest level of creative taekwondo choreography among Taekwondo majors nationwide.
Professor Choi Hyun-dong stated, "The Kkotpiuri team from the Taekwondo Department at Daegyeong University is a nationally recognized powerhouse in terms of parade skills. Going forward, we will integrate AI into our original choreography to deliver an upgraded parade."
