【브레이크뉴스 경북】진예솔 기자=경북교육청이 초등학교 6학년 학생들의 중학교 적응을 돕기 위해 제작한 안내자료에 대한 만족도 조사에 나선다.
임종식 경북교육감은 초등학교 6학년 학생들의 안정적인 중학교 적응을 지원하기 위해 제작·보급한 '중학교 가는 길' 안내자료에 대한 만족도 및 개선 의견 조사를 22일부터 30일까지 실시한다고 밝혔다.
이번 조사는 2025학년도에 배포된 자료의 실제 활용도를 살펴보고, 학생·학부모·교사의 의견을 수렴해 2026학년도 안내자료를 한층 더 현장 친화적이고 효과적으로 개선하기 위한 것이다.
조사 대상은 초등학교의 경우 2024학년도 6학년 담임 또는 진로 담당 교사, 중학교는 1학년 학생과 학부모다. 참여는 학교에서 안내하는 인터넷 주소나 QR코드를 통해 개별 응답으로 진행된다.
설문 문항은 안내자료 활용 여부, 중학교 생활 적응에의 도움 정도, 가장 유익했던 항목, 향후 추가·보완이 필요한 내용 등으로 구성됐다. 이를 통해 안내자료의 강점과 개선점을 종합적으로 분석한다.
'중학교 가는 길'은 초등학교에서 중학교로 진학하는 전환기 학생들이 겨울방학 학습·생활 습관 준비, 중학교 교과와 평가 방식 이해, 교우 관계 형성과 학교폭력 예방, 학교생활기록부와 자치 활동, 자유학기제·학교자율시간·진로 탐색 등을 미리 알아보고 대비할 수 있도록 구성했다.
경북교육청은 이번 조사를 통해 학생과 학부모가 실질적으로 체감할 수 있는 콘텐츠를 보강하고, 교사의 지도 자료로 활용 가능한 맞춤형 안내서는 물론, 학부모에게 필요한 별도의 도움자료도 함께 개발해 새롭게 선보일 계획이다.
임종식 교육감은 "'중학교 가는 길'은 학생들에게 두려움 대신 설렘으로 중학교 생활을 준비할 수 있게 하는 안내서"라며 "교육공동체의 의견을 바탕으로 학생 중심, 현장 중심의 자료를 개발해 성공적인 학교 적응을 돕겠다"고 말했다.
