경기도의회 여성가족평생교육위원회 문형근 위원장(더불어민주당, 안양3)이 지난 9월 19일 경기도의회 상임위원실에서 의원연구단체 ‘경기도 직업인성교육연구회’(회장 박세원 의원) 주관으로 열린 ‘경기도 청소년의 밝은 미래를 위한 평생교육 연구, 청소년 직업인성을 중심으로’ 최종보고회를 주재했다.

이번 연구용역은 (사)한국직업인성개발원이 지난 7월부터 3개월간 수행했으며, 청소년 직업인성 함양 정책 수립과 조례 제정을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 예정이다. 특히 청소년의 사회진입 초기 역량 강화를 위한 평생교육 차원의 직업인성교육 프로그램 개발과 운영 방안을 제시했다는 점에서 의미가 크다.

보고회에는 연구회 회원인 김호겸 의원(국민의힘 수원5)과 (사)한국직업인성개발원 이재춘 원장, 관계 공무원 등이 참석해 정책 적용 방안에 대해 논의했다.

문형근 위원장은 “청소년기의 직업인성은 미래 직업인이 갖춰야 할 가치와 역량을 실천하는 과정”이라며, “경기도가 청소년 직업인성교육의 중심지로 자리매김하도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Gyeonggi Provincial Council Women, Family, and Lifelong Education Committee Chairperson Moon Hyung-geun (Democratic Party of Korea, Anyang 3) presided over the final report meeting titled "Lifelong Education Research for a Bright Future for Gyeonggi Province Youth, Focusing on Youth Career Development," hosted by the Gyeonggi Provincial Council Standing Committee Office (Chairperson Park Se-won), a research group for members of the council.

This research, conducted by the Korea Institute for Vocational Education and Human Resources Development over a three-month period beginning in July, will serve as the foundation for establishing policies and enacting ordinances to foster youth's career development capacity.
