[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] BNK경남은행이 창원시와 손잡고 미국의 고율 관세 조치로 어려움을 겪는 지역 수출 기업들의 경쟁력 강화에 나섰다.
양 기관은 25일, ‘대미 수출 기업 경쟁력 강화를 위한 동반성장협력 협약’을 체결하고 총 200억 원 규모의 특별 금융 지원을 시작한다고 밝혔다.
이번 동반성장협력 협약의 핵심은 미국의 고율 관세로 인해 자금 운용에 비상이 걸린 지역 중소·제조기업을 위한 맞춤형 금융 지원이다. BNK경남은행은 창원시와 함께 조성한 협력자금을 활용하여 200억 원 한도 내에서 자금을 지원하고 파격적인 금리 감면 혜택을 제공한다.
업체당 지원한도는 최대 3억 원이며, 예탁금 감면 및 추가 감면을 통해 연 3.20%의 감면 이율이 적용된다. 특히, 이번 대출은 기존 고금리 대출을 낮은 금리로 갈아탈 수 있는 대환(저금리 대환) 목적으로도 활용할 수 있도록 설계되어, 정책 수요자인 기업들의 실질적인 금융 부담 해소에 초점을 맞췄다.
