㈜자광이 옛 대한방직 부지에 추진하는 '전주 관광타워 복합시설'이 착공 및 분양에 착수할 수 있게 됐다.
우범기 전주시장은 29일 ㈜자광 전은수 대표이사와 공개 간담회를 갖고 '전주 관광타워 복합개발'사업의 주택 건설 사업 계획을 최종 승인했다.
이날 우 시장은 옛 대한방직 부지 개발사업이 향후 지역 관광산업 발전을 이끌고 일자리 창출 등 지역경제 활성화에 이바지할 수 있도록 당초 수차례 밝혀왔던 ▲ 공공기여 ▲ 지역사회 공헌 ▲ 사업 계획 이행 등을 주문했다.
전주시는 지난해 12월 연말 ㈜자광과 업무협약을 통해 개발부지 내 무상 귀속시설인 도로와 경관녹지 307억 원ㆍ지역사회 공헌시설 사업비 1,020억 원ㆍ도시계획 변경을 통해 얻는 토지가치 상승분 2,528억 원 등 공공 기여금 총 3,855억 원을 확정한 바 있다.
