대구 동구·군위군갑 지역구를 맡고 있는 최 의원은 기업 현장에서의 경험과 전문성을 바탕으로 국회에 입성한 이후 국민의 목소리를 세밀하게 반영하는 정책을 제시하고 지역 현안을 직접 발로 뛰며 해결해 왔다.
최 의원은 "올바른 국회의원 대상이라는 뜻깊은 상을 받게 되어 영광이고, 무한한 책임감을 느낀다"며 "기업에서 쌓은 전문성을 바탕으로 시작한 의정 활동, 그 모든 고민과 노력이 국민과 지역 주민에게 '올바름'으로 인정받았다는 사실이 뜻깊다"고 말했다.
이어 "단 한 분의 민생도 놓치지 않는 빈틈없는 의정 활동으로 보답하겠다"며 "'올바름'의 가치가 곧 국민의 삶을 바꾸는 힘이 되도록 계속 전진하겠다"고 밝혔다.
