월성원자력본부, 추석 맞아 감포공설시장 장보기·청렴캠페인 진행

【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 월성원자력본부(본부장 정원호)가 추석을 앞두고 9월 30일 경주시 감포읍 감포공설시장에서 ‘추석맞이 전통시장 장보기’와 ‘청렴캠페인’을 실시했다.

이번 행사에는 1·2·3발전소 소장 등 본부 경영진과 직원 60여 명이 참여해 상인과 지역 주민들과 덕담을 나누며 건어물, 과일, 채소류 등 750만 원 상당의 물품을 구매했다. 최학형 감포공설시장 번영회장과 임원들도 함께 참여해 소통의 시간을 가졌다.

구입한 물품은 동경주 지역의 감포·나아지역아동센터, 경주지역자활센터, 경주시 장애인복지시설 은혜원과 경주푸른마을 등 지역 복지시설에 전달됐다.

행사와 함께 진행된 청렴캠페인에서는 반부패 및 청렴문화 확산을 다짐하며, 명절 분위기 속에서 청렴의 중요성을 알렸다.

정원호 본부장은 “이번 행사가 주변 지역 경제와 복지시설에 도움이 되기를 바라며, 모두 행복한 명절을 보내시길 바란다”고 말했다.

월성원자력본부는 전통시장 장보기 외에도 지역특산품 구매, 월성행복드림페이 복지 바우처 지원, 원전 인접지역 상권 활성화 사업 등 다양한 방식으로 지역 경제 활성화에 힘쓰고 있다.
