【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시교육청이 오는 13일부터 24일까지 대구학생문화센터 e-갤러리에서 ‘2025 대구학생작가전–꿈! 예술로 피어나다’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
올해로 여섯 번째를 맞는 이번 전시는 대구시교육청이 추진 중인 ‘1학생 1예술 활동’의 하나다.
학생들이 직접 기획하고 창작한 미술작품을 시민들과 나누는 자리로 학생, 학부모, 지역 주민 등 누구나 자유롭게 관람할 수 있다.
이번 전시에는 지난 5월 공모를 통해 선발된 초등학생 2명, 중학생 4명, 고등학생 9명 등 총 15명의 학생 작가가 참여했다. 각자의 이름으로 꾸민 개인 부스에서 1인당 15점 안팎, 총 250여 점의 작품을 선보인다.
특히 올해는 대구덕희학교 학생이 참여해 예술의 다양성과 창의성을 한층 넓혔다. 학생들은 연필, 펜, 수채와 아크릴물감, 디지털 드로잉 등 여러 매체를 활용해 자신만의 시선으로 세상을 담았다. 작품 주제도 자신의 내면에서 출발해 가족, 친구, 사회로 확장되며 따뜻한 메시지를 전한다.
강은희 대구시교육감은 “이번 학생작가전은 아이들이 예술을 통해 자신을 표현하고, 그 과정에서 자존감을 키워나가는 의미 있는 무대”라며 “학생들의 예술적 열정이 시민들에게도 깊은 감동을 전하길 바란다”고 말했다.

Daegu Superintendent of Education Kang Eun-hee said, "This student artist exhibition is a meaningful opportunity for children to express themselves through art and, in the process, build self-esteem. I hope the students' artistic passion will deeply resonate with our citizens."
