【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 남구보건소는 지역 내 여성 이용시설을 대상으로 신종담배의 유해성을 알리고 맞춤형 금연정보를 제공하는 홍보활동을 실시했다고 14일 밝혔다.
이번 활동은 여성들의 건강권 보호와 올바른 금연 인식 확산을 위해 마련된 것으로, 대한미용사회 대구남구지회, 대구여성인력개발센터, 관내 콜센터 등 여성 근로자와 이용자가 많은 시설을 중심으로 진행됐다.
보건소는 시설별 맞춤형 금연정보 포스터를 제작·배부했으며, 포스터에는 △흡연이 여성에게 미치는 영향 △전자담배의 오해와 진실 △보건소 금연클리닉 안내 등을 담은 QR코드를 삽입해 이용자들이 일상 속에서 손쉽게 정보를 확인할 수 있도록 했다.
또한 출근길 캠페인과 이동 금연클리닉을 운영해 현장에서 직접 금연상담과 지원서비스를 제공했으며, 대한미용사회 대구남구지회와 업무협약(MOU)을 체결해 여성 친화적 금연환경 조성을 위한 협력 기반도 강화했다.
이명자 남구보건소장은 “여성 근로자와 이용자들이 많이 찾는 시설에서 신종담배 유해성을 알리고 맞춤형 금연정보를 제공하는 것은 여성 건강 보호에 중요한 의미가 있다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 협력해 건강한 금연문화 확산에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
