[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 역동적인 성장과 화합의 물결이 경남도청 특설무대를 가득 채웠다. 경상남도(박완수 도지사)는 14일 오후, '도민과 함께 나아가는 행복한 경남'을 슬로건으로 내걸고 '제42회 경남도민의 날 기념행사'를 성대하게 개최했다.
도민 2,000여 명과 도내 18개 시·군 단체장 및 마스코트가 한자리에 모인 이번 행사는, 민선 8기 이후 경남이 이룬 경제적 성과를 공유하고, 지역 간 통합과 새로운 도약을 다짐하는 축제의 장이었다.
특히 올해 처음 도입된 '자랑스러운 경남인상' 시상식은 행사 분위기를 최고조로 끌어올렸는데, 경제, 문화·예술·체육, 사회공헌, 선행·효행·가족, 보훈 등 5개 부문에서 총 10명의 공로자가 수상의 영예를 안았다.

이 중 경제 부문에서는 진주수곡농협 문수호 조합장, 동명식품 박재동 대표와 함께, 이미 국가 최고 훈장인 동탑·은탑·금탑 산업훈장을 모두 수훈한 한국 산업계의 거목, 삼우금속공업 방효철 대표가 이름을 올려 시상식의 무게감을 더했다.
문화·예술·체육 부문에서는 '베트남 축구 영웅' 박항서 대한축구협회 부회장이 수상해 뜨거운 박수를 받았으며, 사회공헌 부문에서는 리베라관광개발 김태명 회장, ㈜현대정밀 오춘길 회장, 하충식 한마음국제의료재단 의장 등 통 큰 나눔을 실천한 인물들이 선정되었다.
