인천시, ‘차세대 글로벌 창업무역스쿨 모국방문교육’ 진행

(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 지난 19일부터 24일까지 5박 6일간 라마다 송도 호텔에서 ‘2025 제23기 차세대 글로벌 창업무역스쿨 모국방문교육’이 개최됐다고 밝혔다.

인천시에 따르면, 이번 교육은 글로벌 경제리더를 육성하고 한민족 정체성 함양을 목표로 각국의 차세대 재외동포(1.5~4세대)를 국내에 초청해 진행된다. 

세계한인경제무역협회(이하 월드옥타)가 2003년부터 매년 추진해 오는 사업으로 인천시는 올해 월드옥타와 공동 주최하여 글로벌 인적 자산인 차세대 재외동포와의 네트워크를 강화하고 인천의 위상을 알리는 계기를 마련했다.

이번 교육에는 해외 23개국에서 온 78명의 재외동포 차세대 경제인이 참가했으며, 명사 초청 강연, 팀별 토의 및 발표, 국내 스타트업 기업과의 네트워킹 행사, 인천 역사·문화 체험 등 다양한 프로그램이 진행된다.
