인천시에 따르면, 이날 전달식에는 유정복 시장, 조상범 인천사회복지공동모금회 회장, 조대흥 인천시지역사회보장협의체연합회 회장 등이 참석했다.
‘온(溫) 동네 희망지킴이’사업은 사회복지공동모금회가 4억 5천만 원의 사업비를 지원하고, 인천시 10개 군·구 지역사회보장협의체가 관내 어려운 위기가구를 발굴해 지원하는 지역사회 돌봄 지원사업이다.
지역사회보장협의체는 지역의 사회보장을 증진하고, 사회보장과 관련된 서비스를 제공하는 관계 기관·법인·단체·시설과 연계·협력을 강화하고자 ‘사회보장급여법’에 따라 각 군·구 및 읍·면·동 단위에 의무적으로 설치된 법정 기구다.

한편, 지난 2023년에도 사회복지공동모금회와 7개 구 지역사회보장협의체가 협력해 ‘이웃의 재발견’사업을 펼쳐 위기가구 185가구에 총 1억 3천만 원을 지원한 바 있다.
