(브레이크뉴스 광주·전남) 이학수 기자=전라남도가 ‘2025 한복문화주간’을 맞아 보성에 위치한 전남한복문화창작소에서 지난 22일부터 26일까지 5일간 전통과 현대가 조화롭게 어우러진 한복문화 향연이 성황리에 펼쳐졌다고 밝혔다.
문화체육관광부가 주최하고 한국공예·디자인문화진흥원, 전남도, 보성군, 전남한복문화창작소가 공동 주관한 이번 행사는 ‘우리 모두 가치(GREEN) 한복’을 주제로 다채로운 프로그램으로 꾸며졌다.
특히, 22일 한옥동 특설무대에서 열린 개막 패션쇼는 큰 호응을 얻었다. 왕의 황룡포, 문무관의 단령, 선비의 도포·철릭·답호 등 조선시대 전통복식이 재현되어 관람객의 이목을 집중시켰다.
이와 함께 천연염색 전문공방 ‘숨’에서 제작한 친환경 신한복 컬렉션이 선보여, 전남도가 지향하는 지속가능한 한복산업의 비전을 제시했다는 평가다.
전남한복문화창작소는 패션쇼 이후에도 학술세미나, 스템프투어, 천연염색 체험, 한복 입어보기 행사 등을 이어가며 한복 문화 확산에 힘썼다. 그중 24일에는 ‘아시아 전통직물의 현황과 보성삼베의 활성화 방안’을 주제로 학술세미나가 열려 전남도 전통직물의 산업화와 세계화 방안을 심도 깊게 모색하기도 했다.
또한, 행사 기간 보성 열선루공원과 전남도청 일대에서는 플리마켓과 전통공예 전시가 마련되어, 천연염색 스카프, 노리개, 업사이클링 소품 등 남도 장인들의 정교한 작품들이 관람객들의 발길을 붙잡았다.
전남한복문화창작소 전시실에서는 ‘오래된 미래’ 한복문화전이 오는 11월 30일까지 계속되며, 전남의 색과 선, 공예정신이 담긴 전통복식의 미학을 계속해서 선보일 예정이다.
