국립국어원이 주최하고 세종국어문화원이 주관한 '디지털 문해력 향상 강좌'가 더브릿지 도서관에서 총 4차시의 교육을 성공적으로 마쳤다. 이번 강좌는 단순한 기기 조작법을 넘어, 어르신들이 디지털을 매개로 젊은 세대와 교감하고 소통하는 능력을 기르는 데 중점을 두었다.
강좌는 △SNS 문해력 △가짜 뉴스와 광고 구별하기 등 실용적인 내용부터 △글그램을 활용한 손편지 제작 △동영상 편집 △챗GPT와 제미나이 등 AI 도구 활용까지 최신 트렌드를 반영했다. 특히, 어르신들이 직접 만든 '디지털 창작물'이 큰 화제가 되었다.

이번 강좌를 유치하고 운영한 더브릿지 도서관 윤설희 관장은 프로그램의 의미를 '연결'에서 찾았다. 그는 "사람들이 모여 소통하는 공간을 꿈꾸며 작은도서관을 운영해왔다"며, "어르신들이 디지털을 배워 이웃과 가족에게 기여하는 모습을 보며 사립 도서관 운영의 어려움을 이겨내는 힘을 얻는다"고 말했다.

Seeing seniors learn digital skills and contribute to their neighbors and families gives me the strength to overcome the challenges of running a private library."
