지난 5일 킨텍스에서 '경기북부 드론산업 발전 협의체' 회의가 개최되어 경기북부 지역의 드론산업 발전 방향을 모색했다.
이번 회의는 '2025 드론·도심항공모빌리티(UAM) 박람회'와 연계해 진행됐으며, 경기도가 주최하고 대진테크노파크가 주관했다.

'경기북부 드론산업 발전 협의체'는 경기도 미래성장산업국의 지원으로 구성된 협의 논의체로, 고양시·포천시·양주시·남양주시·의정부시 등 경기북부 5개 시를 비롯해 경기교통공사, 한국항공대, 국방부 드론작전사령부, 육군 5군단 등 산·학·군·관 실무진들이 참여하고 있다.
이동환 고양시장은 환영사를 통해 "혁신이 하나로 모여 기술이 삶의 일부가 되는 시대에, AI기술이 함께하는 미래를 이끌어주기 바란다"며 "고양시에서 개최하는 2025 드론·UAM 박람회도 참관하시고 지자체와 실무 협업을 지속적으로 활발하게 추진하길 바란다"고 말했다.
이날 협의체는 2025년 드론산업 발전을 위한 업무 추진 성과를 공유하고, '드론·AI 융합 사업 방향'에 대한 강연을 진행했다.
특히 2026년 핵심 프로젝트인 드론교통관리 시스템 구축 및 항공 AI 드론 부품 개발에 대한 구체적인 추진 방안을 논의했다.
고양시 드론산업팀 실무진은 "드론전문 플랫폼으로 육성 중인 고양드론앵커센터의 괄목할 만한 실적은 고양시 드론산업 경쟁력 강화에 기여하고 있다"며 "국토부의 K-UAM 실증 및 버티포트 인프라 조성 지원을 밑거름 삼아 UAM 산업 기반도 공고히 할 것"이라고 밝혔다.
고양시는 7일까지 킨텍스에서 열리는 '2025 드론·UAM 박람회'와 연계해 글로벌 협력과 투자를 촉진하는 등 고양시를 지속 가능한 대한민국 대표 미래 모빌리티 거점으로 적극 육성해 나갈 계획이다.
경기북부 지역의 드론산업은 지자체 간 협력과 산·학·군·관의 유기적인 네트워크를 통해 첨단 신산업 분야로서의 입지를 강화해 나가고 있다.

On the 5th, the "Northern Gyeonggi Drone Industry Development Council" meeting was held at KINTEX to explore the direction of drone industry development in the northern Gyeonggi region.

In particular, they discussed specific plans for the establishment of a drone traffic management system and the development of aviation AI drone components, key projects for 2026.
The Goyang City Drone Industry Team stated, "The remarkable achievements of the Goyang Drone Anchor Center, which is being fostered as a specialized drone platform, are contributing to the strengthening of Goyang City's drone industry competitiveness. We will also solidify the foundation of the UAM industry, leveraging the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's support for K-UAM demonstrations and the establishment of vertiport infrastructure."
Goyang City plans to actively foster Goyang as a leading hub for sustainable future mobility in Korea by promoting global cooperation and investment in conjunction with the "2025 Drone & UAM Expo," held at KINTEX until the 7th.
