파주문화재단이 고려시대 국립숙박시설이자 교통의 요지였던 혜음원을 알리고자 다양한 프로그램을 운영하고 있다.

특히 올해는 파주 지역 어린이들을 대상으로 영상 콘텐츠, 혜음원지 대표 유물인 ‘용두’를 활용한 포일아트 체험 '반짝반짝 용두', 샌드아트로 들려주는 '혜음원 이야기' 등 지역 문화유산을 쉽고 재미있게 이해하고 즐길 수 있도록 프로그램을 구성했다.
6월부터 관내 어린이집 대상 단체관람 프로그램을 운영 중이며, 현재까지 450명의 어린이가 참여하는 등 큰 호응을 얻고 있으며 이에 따라 재단은 해당 프로그램의 운영을 11월까지 연장하여 이어갈 예정이다. 프로그램의 자세한 내용 및 참여신청은 파주문화재단 홈페이지에서 확인할 수 있다.
