(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 10일부터 12월 8일까지 서울신학대학교 ‘이룸(eRoom)’ 플랫폼을 통해 지역 웹툰 창작 생태계를 조성하고 차세대 창의인재를 발굴하기 위한 ‘2025 부천시 웹툰융합공모전’을 개최한다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 이번 공모전은 지난해에 이어 두 번째로 열리는 관학협력 사업으로, 서울신학대학교와 부천대학교가 공동 주최·주관하며, 부천시와 경기콘텐츠진흥원, 한국만화영상진흥원, 부천문화재단, (사)웹툰협회가 후원한다.
공모 주제는 ‘지역사회 과제 해결 및 활성화 방안’이며, 경기도민을 비롯해 도내 소재 사업장에 근무 중인 근로자, 중·고등학교 및 대학교 재학생이라면 누구나 참여할 수 있다.
참가자에게는 전문 컨설팅과 특강도 제공된다.
웹툰 기획과 스토리 개발을 위한 컨설팅은 서울신학대학교에서 2회, 웹툰융합센터에서 1회 진행되며, 인공지능(AI)·데이터 과학 융합 특강과 캡스톤 디자인 연계 교육 프로그램도 함께 운영해 실질적인 창작 역량 강화를 지원한다.
심사는 웹툰 분야 전문가와 후원 기관 관계자 등으로 구성된 심사위원단이 맡는다.
창작성, 대중성, 완성도를 기준으로 수상작을 선정하며, 총 28명(팀)을 선정해 상금 1,140만 원과 상장도 수여된다.
아울러 시상식은 12월 22일 웹툰융합센터에서 열릴 예정이며, 수상작은 웹툰융합센터와 관내 대학 등 다양한 기관과 협력해 지역 곳곳에서 전시될 예정이다.
