국립창원대학교가 수행한 하와이 한인 이민사 연구를 통해 독립운동 공로가 새롭게 확인된 故 박순이 여사가 서울 코엑스에서 개최된 제60회 전국여성대회에서 '6080 특별상'을 수상했다고 20일 밝혔다.
故 박순이 여사의 공로 확인은 국립창원대학교의 '한인 디아스포라 발굴조사단'이 수년간 하와이 현지에서 초기 한인 이민자를 대상으로 심층적인 현지 자료와 구술 기록을 분석한 집념의 결과다.
