【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군 도안면 지역사회보장협의체는 29일 도안면사무소 일원에서 ㈜우진산전(대표 김정현)과 함께 도안면 소외계층을 위한 이웃돕기 김장나눔 행사를 개최했다.
이날 행사에는 김정현 대표를 비롯한 우진산전 직원 40여 명과 김왕태 위원장 등 협의체 위원들이 참여해 직접 김치를 담그며 이웃 사랑을 실천했다.
이날 담근 김장김치는 가구당 6kg씩 도안면 내 독거노인과 취약계층 100가구에 전달됐다.
이번 행사는 우진산전 직원들이 모은 기부금액 1000만원으로 마련됐으며, 우진산전은 2021년부터 매년 1000만원의 기부를 이어오며 지역 어르신들의 겨울나기 지원에 꾸준히 동참하고 있다.
김정현 대표는 “이번 김장 나눔 행사를 통해 우리 주위의 어려운 이웃들이 따뜻한 겨울을 보낼 수 있기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 사회공헌사업을 통해 우진산전이 지역사회 일원으로 사회적 책임과 의무를 다하겠다”고 마음을 전했다.
이날 행사에 함께한 이재영 군수는 “매년 꾸준한 나눔을 실천해주신 우진산전에 깊이 감사드린다”며 “도안면 어르신과 취약계층이 따뜻한 겨울을 보낼 수 있도록 군도 다양한 복지 지원에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
