산림조합중앙회 최창호 회장은 12월 1일 파주시산림조합을 방문해 조합이 추진 중인 주요 사업과 2026년도 업무계획을 보고받았다.

이번 방문은 급변하는 임업환경과 지역의 산림관리 수요 증가에 대응해 조합의 운영 체계를 직접 점검하고 향후 지원 방안을 모색하기 위한 일정으로 마련됐다.
도착 후 최창호 회장은 전진옥 조합장을 비롯한 임직원들과 함께 신용사업 운영 실적, 임업인 정책자금 공급 현황, 임산물유통센터와 미이용산림자원화센터 운영 현황, 산림경영지도 추진 상황, 드론을 활용한 산림재해 대응 체계 등 핵심 업무 전반에 대한 보고를 들었다.
특히 파주시산림조합은 최근 확대 중인 드론 기반 산림관리 사업을 중점적으로 소개했다.
조합은 드론을 활용해 산림 경계 확인, 조림지와 숲가꾸기 지역의 사후관리 점검, 병해충 의심지 예찰, 산불 취약지와 재해 발생지 항공 모니터링 등 기존 지도사업의 정밀도를 높이고 있다고 설명했다.
