(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 5일, ‘2025년 국민영양관리시행계획’ 평가 에서 우수기관으로 선정되어 보건복지부 장관상을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

앞서 부평구는 임산부·영유아 대상 영양플러스사업, 아동 대상 찾아가는 건강교실, 성인 대상 비만클리닉 운영, 노인 대상 방문 취약계층 영양지원 등 생애주기별 맞춤 영양관리 서비스를 제공했다.
특히 이번 평가에서 구는 지역사회와의 연계를 기반으로 한 영양관리사업 추진 성과가 우수한 공로로 인정받았다.
행정복지센터를 비롯해 사회복지기관, 병의원, 푸드뱅크 등 지역 내 다양한 자원을 연계하여 방문형 영양·건강서비스를 제공하고, 지역 아동센터와 노인복지관을 중심으로 ‘찾아가는 건강·영양교실’을 운영하는 등 주민 접근성을 높이는 사업을 지속적으로 전개해 왔다.
이러한 노력은 지역 특성을 반영한 실질적 건강·영양관리 체계를 구축해 지역 주민의 영양 및 건강 수준 향상에 기여했다.
