【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천 관내 식품제조업체 CEO 모임인 매력적인 CEO 모임(이하 매씨모, 회장 정상용)은 10일 진천군청을 방문해 어려운 이웃에게 전달해달라며 백미 800kg(금 300만원 상당)를 기탁했다.
매씨모는 평소에도 지역 복지 증진과 사회공헌 활동에 꾸준히 관심을 가져온 단체로 2016년부터 매년 취약계층 지원을 위해 백미를 기탁해 지역사회에 귀감이 되고 있다.
정상용 회장((주)양지 대표이사)은 “회원들이 뜻을 모아 어려운 이웃에게 작은 힘을 보탤 수 있어 기쁘다”며 “추운 겨울을 보내고 있는 취약계층들이 조금이나마 힘이 됐으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.
이번에 기탁된 성품은 충북사회복지공동모금회를 통해 관내 취약계층에게 전달될 예정이다.
