안양시의회 이재현 의원, 중앙시장 조명공사 KS 미인증 납품 지적

안양시의회 이재현 의원(안양다)이 제307회 정례회 행정사무감사에서 안양시가 발주한 중앙시장 경관조명 설치공사와 관련해 KS 인증을 받지 않은 제품이 납품·설치된 사실을 지적하며 설계·규격 관리 부실을 지적했다.

이재현 의원은 “해당 공사는 시방서에 KS 인증 또는 그와 동등 이상의 성능을 갖춘 제품 사용을 명확히 요구하고 있음에도, KS 미인증 경관조명이 고가로 납품된 사실이 확인됐다”고 밝혔다.

안양시는 해당 조명 제품에 대해 감리감독자가 검수한 만큼 문제가 없다는 입장을 밝혔으나, 이재현 의원은 실제 납품 제품의 세부 규격을 확인한 결과 KS 인증이 없는 제품으로 드러났다고 설명했다. 이 의원은 “옥외 설치가 기본인 경관조명 공사에서 KS 기준을 충족하지 못한 제품을 사용한 것은 시방서와 설계 기준을 정면으로 위반한 중대한 하자”라고 강조했다.

또한 이재현 의원은 “지방의회의 가장 중요한 책무는 행정을 감시하고 시민의 혈세가 올바르게 사용되도록 견제하는 것”이라며 “이번 중앙시장 경관조명 공사에서 드러난 KS 미인증 납품과 단가 부풀리기 의혹은 결코 가볍게 넘길 사안이 아니다”라고 말했다.
